Mission:
The mission of KHAI Counseling Solutions is to “kultivate” healing and inspire clients to activate their strengths, explore endless possibilities, and live mentally healthy through a client-centered approach and strengths perspective.
KHAI Counseling Solutions is inspired by the founder’s son, Khai, who is an exceptional individual and is a representation of how adversity may present in our lives but the outcome can differ from the assumed/unknown expectation. In utero, he was given an initial prognosis of not surviving after birth. BUT he fought for the life that was purposed for him to live. All who are born with his rare birth defect, Right Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, need extra support which includes professionals who are trained and equipped to cultivate their healing; and thus, the same when we encounter unexpected challenges that diminish our mental health.
Finding the “right” clinician can be a tedious task and one may have to engage with more than one to feel comfortable. KHAI Counseling Solutions can’t promise specific outcomes, but the intention is to provide therapeutic services that are culturally competent/sensitive and client driven. The goal isn’t to provide one with answers, but to help them navigate challenges and identify their own strengths. Build from these strengths and develop one’s own solutions as the subject matter expert of their life.
KHAI Counseling Solutions believes, like Khai, we are born with the ability to fight for the life intended for us; the life we envision for ourselves. With this fight comes strength, resilience, determination, and purpose to name a few. We sometimes just need extra support to help activate and “KULTIVATE” these abilities to start our HEALING journey and be INSPIRED to thrive and live authentically ourselves.
You don’t have to see the whole staircase; just take the first step.
